At Richard A. Bobb we are focused on business or commercial opportunities, which allows us to "bring business together".
Far from being an appealing catchphrase, the firm forged the concept that the intrinsic value in "blending the combination of the parts" would often exceed the total value of the separate business identities".
At Richard A Bobb we believe that "Bringing business together" requires a careful and diligent analysis of the following personal attributes:
· Vision;
· Foresight;
· Perseverance;
· A propensity to "look outside the square" and to apply
lateral thinking concepts.
The firm's client relationships have now produced highly rewarding and beneficial client associations that have outlasted any negative skepticism amongst the "doubting Thomases".
We believe "Bringing business together" requires not only trust and a solid belief that persons of integrity and competence will continue to demonstrate such characteristics, going forward, but will, equally, perform to the same standards of excellence once engaged with prospective business partners they have been introduced to.
CASE STUDY 1
Senior Partner, Richard Bobb, noting the individual accomplishments of two of the firm's most successful corporate clients, the Amstal Property Group and the Richardson Property Group, and considering the particular skills and special area of expertise of the principals, was enthusiastic to advance the concept of "bringing business together" to the benefit of the individual clients concerned.
Both the Amstal Property Group and the Richardson Property Group had enjoyed independent successes in the often complex and difficult market that is the Sydney CBD.
At a mutually convenient time, and without disclosing any of the prior property deals of the individual principals, Richard Bobb:
· sounded out the principals as to an introduction, and
· assisted the principals to explore the prospect of a
business union, starting with the acquisition, for strata
titling, of 131 Macquarie St Sydney.
The new partners have since conducted many more joint property projects, which have, to this day, continued for the mutual benefit and satisfaction of the parties.
The satisfaction, for the firm, is in the knowledge of realising that two (2) successful clients can achieve even greater accolades and rewards, as joint venture/project parties. The firm also benefits, indirectly, from the provision of extended consultancy and business services to the joint venture vehicles created by the new joint entities.
CASE STUDY 2
Mayfair Developments (Aust) Pty Ltd had been a successful property owner, with a long history of property development in The Rocks, a historical precinct located on the edge of the Sydney CBD. It had acquired the ground lease from the Sydney Cove Authority (as it was then known) in respect of a residential development site. This Authority is now known as the Harbour Foreshore Authority.
Unable to proceed further, and with the prospect of forfeiting a substantial payment for the ground lease, the firm was instrumental in introducing Mayfair Developments (Aust) Pty Ltd to the Amstal Property Group. The Amstal Property Group was able to use its substantial technical and commercial expertise and experience to resuscitate the deal.
The result: completion and sale of a luxury residential apartment building at 16 Hickson Road, The Rocks. This meticulously completed, and state-of-the-art residential apartment building, sporting the latest fashionable inclusions, is a fascinating and captivating success story for those facing an initial lack of opportunity, which can be overcome by "bringing business together".
